Mission
Bees4Vets trains military veterans and first responders in beekeeping as a path to mental wellness, vocational skills, and meaningful contribution to local food and pollinator systems.
Problem they address
Veterans and first responders returning from service face high rates of isolation, PTSD, and underemployment. Nevada’s pollinator and small-farm economy needs trained, dedicated stewards.
How they contribute
Hands-on apiary training, mentorship, and a community of veterans and first responders who become local beekeepers, educators, and pollinator advocates.
