Mission
Urban Roots delivers garden-based learning to thousands of Nevada students each year, integrating food, science, and stewardship into K-12 classrooms.
Problem they address
Most students grow up without a working understanding of food systems, soil, water, or the pollinators their meals depend on, making future stewardship harder to build.
How they contribute
School gardens, classroom curriculum, summer camps, and field experiences that turn the food system into something kids can see, touch, and care about.
